New Nitto MTN Campee front rack installed, I was so psyched to get out of town for my first s240 of the season. But alas, the rain came back and my 75 mile ride into the drippy forests of the Snoqualmie MiddleFork area was stimied. Sigh. Back to the city.

Who thought of the rails to trails idea? They're pretty sweet when you just want to stay off the roads and lay down some miles. This beauty is in Carnation Washington – home of the strange white milk powder.

This image was captured on a chilly November motorbike ride, just as the wicked thick fog was burning off. Creamy smooth. Looking for subtleties in nature that would otherwise be overlooked during normal hurried life is a cool way to have a quick wake up. I just drove past this scene once. Then circled back around and began to study it. The sun eventually peeked through the clouds and gave this little river a magical light show.

Old shite rusting on the side of the road. A great reminder that life is short and must be met head on and fully awake. Just think, this old truck was once some dude's pride and joy. And now is a rusting, hippy relic, and my latest watercolor painting.

I was riding my bike around town with my camera, on Sunday looking for a pulse. There was none to be found. So I had a cup of coffee at a shitty Tully's store. Then the (my) pulse began. I got back on my bike, and within 3 minutes I saw these young lovers enjoying a public display. Can I take your photo? Just for fun? Yup. Sure. These Valentine cats and I were wide awake in Post Alley.
